idler pulley issue

Hi all, the idler pulley on my ride has been making some noise recently, my mechanic said the bearing is worn..should i just change the bearing or the whole pulley, read on another site that they suggest replacing the whole idler pulley..should i also replace the belt tensioner pulley at the same time? btw..what other pullies do we have with bearings in our fx...appreciate the help...tks

Ive had the same issue and just replaced my bearing. I reccomend not doing so because every once in a while i get belt squeal. Not sure if its front the bearings or not but regardless im going to put a new pulley and belts just for peace of mind. I also beleive we have two tensioner pulleys that work on bearings. I may go ahead and replace both with new belts.
