I am hoping to have a set of forged monoblocks made for me and am trying to determine the best offset. The catch is that I have to go with 22 x 9.5" rims all the way around... and it would be a lot cheaper if I have the same offest on all wheels... plus -I have H & R springs and have more camber in the rear than the front so would like to have the same offset front and rear so that I can rotate the wheels to get more life out of the tires.

I am thinking of going with a 30 offeset... which will bring the lip of the wheel out 29mm... and then going with 285/40/22 tires... unless I hear other wise (I know that many people go with 285/35/22 - but prefer to have a little extra rubber to protect the rim from curbage)...

Thoughts are appreciated...

First of, why 22's? I think anything over 20s is a overkill. Unless your getting a set of Rotiform wheels in 21x9.5, or HRE's....
But to answer your question 9.5 +30 offset will sit nice, I'm thinking about doing the same setup but in 20s

It's about 1mpg average on the high end decrease. Not a big concern. How do I know, I have both 22s and 20s.

22s look better IMO and from what I can gather based on my own experiences have a better feel in the turns as the shorter and stiffer sidewalls do not roll.

This is making me question why I went back to 20s.

To the TSer, the offsets are good but aren't going to be completely flush with the fender which is good since that means no rolling the fenders!

If I were to do it over, I'd do 22s for the cool factor.

I currently run 20x9.5 +35 offset with 295/45/20 tires. I did some measurements and +25 offset will be flush with the fenders.
