can i just locate the output from the navigaion dvd player and the dvd player-splice the dvd feed into the wire that goes to the front screen.

do you have to get a after market device?? i do not need extra video iputs.

is the stock dvd player strong enough to power two screens? would it need a signal booster???

to me this seems like it would work

you can't do it with just creative wiring, the device must be used. there is a conversion from composite to RGB that you must have, you need a device to do this conversion

True...the trick is the Sync signal.

what does that mean???

does the nav dvd player not work like a standard dvd player? as far as the video feed? (i guess it would make sense that they would be diff if/since the nav wont play an normal dvd)

read all those other posts before posting-i didnt see the idea i had getting previously shot down so i asked :)

I bought my car with a bypass switch to display the dvd movie playing in the rear on the front screen. From what the previous owner told me there is no module just direct wiring to a switch. There is a loose wire right now so my dvd picture kicks out sometimes but once the weather gets warmer I will take apart and take pictures. I also talked to an audio installer in my area and they said they can do it for 100 bucks. I have an 2003 fx45. Hope this helps.
