hi all.. since evryone here pretty much always put info out. and for the must part i'm always asking questions.. i decided to do a lil research and experiment with ICE liquid Clay.. we already know that ICE liquid wax works super great.. so i will try the liquid clay and i will post the results.. i dont know if i can post pictures yet but i will do my best to post some picture of before and after of my FX.

also its being rainning alot around the east coast and my windshield wipers sucks.. so i decided to buy new ones so i got the ICON by bosch(i think thats the right spelling for the brand) i will also post more info on this product.. too i hope that the information would be of help to anyone..

Great outcome for the windshield wisper..I drove back from home (NYC) to MD and it was rainning pretty much till i got to Baltimore so plenty of miles and rain to test the new windshield wipers. the company claims that this wipers are more aerodinamic and have a better desing that let the wind push it closer to the winshield instead of pushing them away.. which it was a problem with the old ones i had.. IT used to happened alot and leave streak marks.

(DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME)

Bosch windshield wipers's test

35mph and really havy rain(and when i mean heavy i mean i have to put my high beams+parking lights on) wipers worked flawlessly. couldnt ask for more everytime they went up and down i had a clear view of the road infront of me.
so at 55mph Bosch's wipers were working fine like if i wasnt moving at all..
At 70 they work even better everytime they went up and down these wipers really are aerodinamic, steady movement and clear windshield .
so under a light rain and a 4 lane HighWay i decided to see how aerodinamic they were so i pushed to *100mph for about a quater of mile.. all i have to say its these wisper are a great product to add to your FX.. the faster i went the more better they worked. i would recommend this product to all FXers, plus the slick desing make it more appealing to the FX.

so in a score from 0 to 10 Bosch ICON windshield wipers a +8 .. the other 2 points i will base it on durability.

thank you all!!!

* when i did this i was in the middle lane and there were no other vehicles around, i dont promote doing this kind of speed while raining so please drive safely*

Just add a new post to this thread once you find out how things work out.

so hows the liquid clay bar? I have it and it works ok I guess, since I never used a solid clay bar so cant compare...

i havent done the test with liquid clay yet.. its being rainning alot here on the east coast and i want to get a perfect day to do it.. will take a pic with no liquid clay or liquid wax. then i will try liquid clay take a pic, and the liquid clay and wax take another pic.. and see how they work together..:iS::tup:

i bought and tried the liquid clay and was ok with the result. it tends to leave the white stuff and must be rinsed a lot. i prefer an actual claybar. more surface feel and control and less mess for me. this could be that i have a black fx and i rarely do a full wash.

aye i will take that into consideration... lets see how my test go on my fx.. i fully wash my fx at least every 2 weeks and mild dirt/dust removal every 2 days i like to keep it clean. i use ICE products so lets see how that goes!

thanks:iS::tup:

Do you know actually how abrasive the ICE clay bar is in the kit they have?

I bought the liquid clay by itself never got the kit. Even tho I use all the ice products to clean my car. I haven't got a chance to utilized the liquid clay on my FX. I bought it and never got a chance to use it.. And by the look of the weather here it will be a while till I get a chance to see the outcome of the liquid clay. I'll look to see if I find how abrasive it's this product.
