hi im joe from nyc and i recently bought an 2011 fx 35 awd. im glad to be a part of the forum and im looking foward to picking your brains. ok, so.....

i love the car but i got into a slight mishap.
i regret to inform that i impacted the front end and air bag deployed, but that all fixed now and it rides like new, almost.

1 ) the blower stopped blowing
may not be related to accident but it worked fine after repairs until one afternoon it didnt. if i turn it on full blast.. little air then nothing

2 ) weird combination of lights go on when i press the horn.
upon applying pressure on horn the battery light and the brake light go on at the same time, every time, until i let go of the horn.

has anyone encountered this? if not does anyone have any idea why this woould be happening?

thanks

Welcome to iS!

It seems plausible that the accident could have caused some of these electrical gremlins, or even with the repairs. Have you thought about taking it to the dealer to have them look at it, and maybe it could be repaired under warranty?

These are def problems related to the accident, haven't heard of anyone having these problems at all.

You need to take the car back to wherever fixed it for you. You only have a limited time after the repair to diagnose other problems that may have occurred. Also, taking it to a dealership and paying them the $100 diagnostic fee would be very relevant in your case. As it will help your case against the repair shop.

Sounds like something that's electrical related to the accident. I would take it to the dealer and let them have a look at it. I'm surprised your insurance didn't declare it totaled.

Definitely electrical issues, but seem fixable. Not totalled likely b/c it being a newer car and only front end damage.
