I love/hate my new FX

I just bought my FX and I finally got to test its abilities in the snow. Denver got roughly 16" and its still coming down. I was amazed at how well it handled. On my way into work, I pass an abandoned warehouse with a decently large parking lot. I figured Id stop in and test my FX's abilities to the fullest. I went from not being able to do anything fun (donuts) because of lack of traction in my G35 coupe to not being able to do donuts because of too much traction in the FX. I guess I cant complain too much though, I cant be upset that my FX handles better in the snow than any other vehicle ive owned :)

This was I-25 this morning. Solid sheet of ice.

Donuts you say? Sure you can. I assume you have an AWD. What you do is disengage the VDC and pull the AWD fuse and you still can have the fun. There is a thread on this procedure. I haven't done it myself though. :smile (2):

Ha, Yeah I didnt turn VDC off. It was more of a 30 second pull it, crank the wheel, and floor it then a actually party time. It came with some blizzaks too so I dont know if that made a huge difference either or not. A little off topic but does anyone know how to test the AWD lock button. I turn it on and I get a green light saying its on in the dash but I dont know if Im actually in awd. Id like to know before my 2 month 2000 mile warranty is up.
