I just received my new Rotors from rotorpros...

how well do the rotorpros hold up against corrossion. i talked with another member on here who bought the centric rotors that were zinc plated, and look pretty durable. he said they started to rust inside of one year. as of this point i plan on getting stoptech rotors that are 440 for the set. got an email from rotorpros that they can do rotors, pads, and SS lines for about the same price. i figured they can't be as quality as the stoptechs, which Dr told me haven't rusted AT ALL, but you never know. anyone have any feedback on this? my new rims are WIDE open so if i have to spend a lot to keep them from rusting, then i'm going to do it. sucks to have a crusty looking rotor behind a freshly detailed rim.

So EG3 there is no difference in the different rotors out there if we stay with our stocked size?

If we're talking about stopping power, I didn't feel any difference at all. I was using Hawk pads before the rotor swap and used the same kind of pads after and no difference for me.

I used the front rotors for about 8 months and the rears I'm still using and I didn't see any rust but I didn't quite look in detail honestly. One thing is that for 06-08, they only offered zinc plated Centric premium ones. The ones offered in the GB was the regular Centric rotors. Don't know if there's any difference at all but the surface never rusted, that I can say for sure.. My FX never really stayed outdoors at nights during the last 2 years but it was outdoors for the majority of the part during the day (work, school etc)

Yeah, I got pretty much the same deal from RotorPro. Im looking for the best package; stopping power and durability. Having a wide open wheel with more weight has not helped the matter...lol.

Except for work my FX is garaged as well, but I've been searching for something, anything other than a brand's website to tell me the difference in rotors or what you should be looking for in a rotor. I've been researching and Brembo, Rotora, Stop Tech all appear to be at the top of the well known list, but when I read deeper into there ads, they all appear to say the same canned statements...lol. I would like to find some information on what I should be looking for in a rotor. Just like Chris stated, I will gladly pay more if its worth it.

well after reading those couple posts about the rotorpros i dont think they would be all that much better than the centric ones. So it looks like i'll be going with the stoptech. I will provide a write up at some point after i have had them for some time. wont be for a few months anyways. stay tuned.

I went with the RotorPros since they use the Centric rotors, same as Stoptech. I did purchase the StopTech SS brake lines with Posi Quiet Ceramic pads. Thanks for everyone's help.

Guys, when you ordered with RotorPros how long was it before you got some kind of a confirmation that your order was recieved by them? And after the order how did it take to receive your rotors? Thanks

Just got my new Centric Rotors, Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake pads, and Stop Tech SS brake lines via RotorPros installed today. Major difference in stopping power...whoa. No more mush, just stop. Great deal...$430 shipped to my door. Will post pics after I paint my calipers, probably next weekend, no time this weekend.

Initially I was going to go BBK or FX50 retrofit, but for $430 this is perfect for me. I just need to feel safe when trying to stop, don't know how it will be in a few months, but today I have to say I am more than just pleased. Thanks to you and the rest of the guys for the recommendation.
