I got my wheels back from the Powder Coater

Thanks folks for the compliments... most like my black stock wheels better than my after market ADR's. Funny thing is I like them way more then my ADR's too. I'll be taking more pictures soon, but its wet in the bay area today.

Mark us railess guys have got to stick together.

Man Brian, you should have left me a note or something. I've been driving around with out the grill for the last two days trying to repair a big chip in it. I had to sand the entire thing down and the rain hasn't helped the dry time at all.
 
I just got my wheels back from the powder coater and am installing them in about an hour. When I picked them up I noticed that they would very slightly scratch (I can't think of a better word) like your car would if you ran your hand across it. To all you folks that have powder coated wheels: do I have to be super careful with these? How do I clean them without leaving "swirl marks"? They were coated with gloss black. Thanks.
 
If you just wash and wipe you'll get swirls. So I do suggest using a light polish to maintain or wheel wax to keep them up. In any case it will always take some effort to keep the looking great.

Any particular product you have found that works better than others?

I had to drop the wheels off and will pick up my car after work. I'm nervous they are going to jack them up when putting on the tires. But oh well, I'm probably just nervous about nothing.

i was seriously thinking of goin there too. yo post pics of your wheels when you get them back if possible. i really want to get my wheels done but didn't know where to go. did they tell you how long it would take.
 
Hey hammer. Went there and they said 3 days turn around time. I had them paint the center caps to, also they are removing my tires and reinstalling them/balance to. Got 15% off to. I'll send you pics when i get them
