How to test headlights off of car?

I bought Morimoto projectors and shrouds from the retrofit source source for my G35 and I retrofitted them already. The thing is I want to some some tests on them off the car and turn them on in my house. Was wondering what should I use to power the headlights up off the car? I was thinking about using an old computer power supply. Don't know what's safe lol.

you need a pretty powerful power supply, most little 12v wall plugs won't have enough juice and they'll just flicker and never ignite. some larger desktop computer power supplies might work and you can try, worse case is they don't ignite but you won't hurt anything. a booster pack is ideal if you have one, or you can run a wire and just temp hook it up right to the car battery too if none of your supplies are strong enough...

Yea. I have a booster/jumper box. I use this to test everything auto related. Before this I kept an old battery and used it to test stuff, but it discharged itself after a couple of years and I couldn't charge it.
