how to remove driver side pillar??

how do i remove the interior drive side pillar. the one by the windshield between the dash and the roof? is there room to hide a wire in behind?

If I can remember correctly, it is held down by clips. Just wriggle it with downward and away from the pillar motion. Yes there is room for wire, but be careful placing the wire out the airbag's way. If you just going to run some wire along it, you can tuck the wire in without removing it.

had no idea there was airbags in there... how did you guys wrap the pillars then without interfering the air bags?

Andy must've meant the pillar between th front and rear windows

My bad, there is no airbag on the A pillar. It was the airbag wiring and safety/hold down nylon strap. Here is a pic from Andrew's (AeroBFA) suede headliner make over. Not a very good pic.

Confirmed. There are two metal clip. Just pull downward and away from the pillar from the upper portion.
