There is two strips of double sided tape, one along the top and one along the bottom, pry the pieces a bit and cut them with an exacto knife.
Then using a couple pairs of trim removal tools you have to get in between the chrome strip and the clips which hold the piece in place and just pry. You will break half the clips, but you can get a whole ton of them for like 20 bucks.
It's a pain in the ass, and I hate the pieces. I will eventually pry off pieces one final time, and have a body shop weld on a piece of metal and finish the door off with a proper edge like any normal car.

Also if you are wrapping your car, not sure how you feel about old trim pieces and stuff, but I ended up replacing a lot of old trim on my car and stuff that had broken clips from either me pulling them off or w/e.
I ended up replacing all the moldings at the top of the door which seal against the window, as well as a shit load of clips, and other small trim pieces when I wrapped my car.
All told I spent upwards of $1000 just on stuff from infinitipartsUSA. I'm neurotic about broken clips, pieces being perfect, and rattles and stuff, so if something had even one broken clip, I ended up replacing it.
Just keep that in mind considering my car is an '08 and your's is an 05. You might have to replace atleast a few trim pieces, probably not as much as me unless you are crazy but expect to spend atleast a couple hundred on some pieces.
