How to drive FX35 09+ in winter :-) Cool video. Nice FX

Nice! lol I dread driving my FX in the winter. Salt if not cleaned right away + Underbody = corrosion

Nice video.
I love driving in the snow. Quite often my wife and I will go for a long drive down the snow covered back country roads after a fresh snowfall.
Wearing the Blizzaks on the winter wheels, the FX behaves like a tank in the snow.

Aaron I get the bottom of my FX sprayed with a product called Coat & Protect by Rust Check. It really helps against the salt.

That video is awesome! It looked like she was having a hard time breaking it loose. They should have hired JB for the demonstration...

I want to see her demonstrate how easy it is to the control a vehicle on ice again, but this time on a Chevy Aveo.

Haha she was surprisingly good. Must be the FX...

What does she mean use the gas to slow down? Instead of braking, I should floor it?

where can i buy this coat & protect? is this something i can diy or do i need a hoist, ie a shop?

Amusing things about this video:
1. The vehicle she is using to demonstrate how to drive on ice as easy as her.
2. As soon as she says "It's hard to keep control!" she slams on the gas and turns the steering wheel sharply.
3. She "turned off all the safety features". Yeah looks tough with the front wheels helping to grip and ABS.

Good video. Pretty sure the FX is AWD in the video

100000% AWD , as had power to front wheels ;-)

I think the snow button on the tranny is pressed...

I drove yesterday with SNOW button off yesterday and with stock 18" oem wheels and all season Bridgeston. It is joke  !!! Car doesn't handle good at all. I was lucky to get it to my garage on a hill. I was very scared. I got snow tires today, but tire shop closet one is 2 miles away and road is not cleared at all. Full of snow and ice :-( I am afraid event to get there :embarrassed:

Any sugggestions?

Just try it! It's limiting your acceleration so no matter how hard you push the gas pedal your FX will not sprint like crazy... It's good when you are in deep snow or ice.

That lady is dumb. She has no idea what shes talking about. As far as JB's drifting video, I give him props for making one because theres nothing else thats really out there for drifting except the one thats on pavement with a TT setup. I plan on making one this winter with mine...either on my buddies lake if its frozen enough or in a parking lot.
