Just bought a 2014 QX70 because "She who must be obeyed" decreed that we will have a SUV. We drove the Merc GLS, X5, RX350 and some Cadillac thing. On the whole it was a depressing day for me after having decided to buy the X5. At 2 in the morning I suddenly remembered that we had a new Infiniti dealer in town. Down we go to look at a QX70. 28 seconds into negotiations the wife states, "I want that vehicle", which pretty much ended the negotiations. On the whole I am impressed with the QX70s mixture of luxury and performance. Besides being run by my wife, I did teach aircraft maintenance for 40 years.
