How to add my ipod to my FX

Can't believe there is no input for an ipod, one of my few complaints with this car. Looking to add use my ipod in my FX. Would it be better to use a navi with an fm transmitter or that peripheral ipod interface I keep hearing about. How exactly does the peripheral ipod interface work? O yea I got 2004...
 
The interface is connected to the cd input if you don't have sat/nav system. I had it done and it sounds amazing. No more need for cd's or fm transmitters.
 
Check out "gromaudio.com". I recently added the I-Pod and USB to my wifes Nissan Altima from them. Easy installation and they have what you need for your FX
