How much did you pay for your FX?

Just snagged mine for $31800, 2010, 35k miles, nav and premium package, with roof rack, rear trunk organizer, mud flaps, and 3m paint film on front and bottom of mirrors. I did shop around for a month and scored one from a Hyundai dealer who took it in on trade and really didn't have a clue of what he had ;)

Nice, when I posted your pics on this site, I read your whole story about you getting the car. From the G35x to the FX35.
Good chice, but it confused me when you were talking about how you went long distances to get your cars lol I couldn't do that

I like the adventure of it. Usually I fly out and drive back, but the rental car to get there was only $104 and the flight would have been $500ish. NOt to mention after layovers, security check ins, I would have only saved an hour or so flying. I usually Spend a few days enjoying the areas, but this time I decided to iron man it and drive back the same day. I am trying to hit all thes states, kind of my bucket list, even though I'm in my low, low 40s ;)

Gray= been there, done that

Wow, that is some unusual "bucket list" for buying cars. Looks like you done most already :top:

Not just buying cars, but Vacations and what ever else comes up. I snagged my Porsche boxster S from sacremento during the recession, it was actually just dumb luck. I got drunk and was on ebay(again), when I saw a $25k boxster(book), I bid $12,750 and didn't even make reserve. The next morning the guy emails me and asks if I wanted it as he was about to lose his house. I drove that for 2 years and made about $3k on it(after insurance, tires, taxes...). last year I found a 2007 G35x in Dallas with no reserve. I won that auction for $9000ish, but the dealer wasn't going to sell it for that. I did use it as a bargaining chip and got it for $18500(23k book).

So I guess it all comes down to luck as to where I end up. I am thinking about moving to Montana for 6months(wink, wink) so I don't have to pay $2200 in taxes on this one. I could hit all those northern states on my trip out there. It beats sitting in front of my computer all summer typeing talking to you stiffs :tongue (2):

2012 FX35 AWD umbria/wheat with premium & deluxe touring packages and first aid kit. Sticker was $53K and we paid VPP price ($47300 I think). Got back in the dealer's good graces by adding illuminated kick plates, tow package, clear bra, stainless bumper guard, all-season floor mats and splash guards after the purchase.
