personally, I think the antenna is worthless... (sorry, I know I've said before already but anyway...) My 02' Acura TL-S doesn't have any antennas... it's integrated into the windshield and it works GREAT!!! In Dana Point I get Both L.A. and San Diego stations... The bigass FX's antenna more or less just causes wind drag if anything (cuz I can totally hear it), and the stations don't came in very clear

How big of a hole does it leave? Maybe we can get some color matched plugs made or something. Not sure if that would look good though.

I ride with my windows down and always a gear lower than i need to be......

So i can hear the V8 burbbling and drowning out anything else around me!!!
