We are just starting this build. It is an 06 FX35 AWD. We are pulling the 3.5L VQ and stoking it to a 4.0L. Then we are re-fabricating a Greddy twin turbo kit from a G35 to fit and upgrading to a pair of GT30R's with 800cc PE injectors and ROM tuning here in house. We also sent the AWD trans to Level 10 to have it built. They guarantee it to hold 900hp......we are going to test it thoroughly!! I just LOVE this build......

I hope we can make 850whp on race fuel.And maybe this will be the fastest fx in the coutry.This car build will be done in october and after, I will be going to the drug strip in IL and WI .

Dam...you live in Darien...like 5 minutes from where my parents live when I'm in chicago....I have a few friends in Darien too.

set of JW C2 cams and springs
4.0l oversized crankshaft

hks metal head gaskets
stock block ,ported heads

wablo 255 external fuel pump
osiris rom tune

I am spending a lot of money on this car .I hope it will be fast as hell,and maybe can pic on new corvets zr1
 
I hope so man,i told my shop that building this car that i want to be 10 sec car.
I was thinking to stay 3.5l but they told me to make this power i haev to change crank shaft to 4.00l

Ok, are you trolling us right now? 10 second car, is this some Fast & Furious I like to live my life a 1/4 mile at a time? There are only 3 Z's to have broken the 10 second barrier, one ran an 8.8, and that has the 4.0L stroker. These are all purpose built shop cars, so they are going to have most of the stuff removed and as light weight as possible. I highly doubt you will be able to get enough power and traction while still having the car remotely enjoyable to be in and run 10's.

Also, what shop is doing the work?

Yea i REALLY doubt that the stock block will last 2 secounds with that much power .... My friend's 350z's connecting rods snaped at 480whp:confused.: ..... If you want ur car to last ... You gotta at LEAST have a short block package ..... Is it even possible to run 900hp on the stock ecu?
 
Awesome! I think your power output estimation is on the high side. Way high side (or super generous dyno). Are you sure you are talking whp not crank?? That is around 1100hp at the crank. Also, that level of power could not be supported by 800cc injectors. But whatever the power output is, this should be awesome and plenty fast! Can't wait to see dragstrip videos.

Doesn't Jumbo have a level 10 trans? I remember him saying that they are only rated to hold 450-500 hp?

Well either way this is going to be one sick fx! Be sure when the whole build process begins that you update your thread regularly.

I send my car from IL to FL to do the work,they building vq35 for 25years.
When I talke to them over the phone before i send my car i felt good aboute it and when they done they will put 1000mil broke in on engine and at the end will be final tun up.the guy is very experien on tunning the vq35

as soon as the car done,I am going to as guys in the shop to take my car to the drug strip for sure,and if its not fast enough we will do some thing to be 10 sec

guys before i decided to spend over 30k. I was thinking a lot if this will be possible so will have to wait and see how good are they what they say,that this car will make 800-850whp on race fuel.
 
That's a lot of $$$ to spend but hey I guess if you got it like that go for it. Best of luck with your FX and keep us updated on the process. Maybe you can post some pics of the work. Any other mods other then the engine?
