How do I pop out front sidemarker housing?

I'm in the process of swapping out light bulbs with led bulbs. Before i break anything, any advice on how to pop out front side marker housing on the M35?

It looks like it'll pop out if i pry it.... Anyone with some experience on this?
 
Well, I took the housing out, but it looks nothing like the housing in the FSM. It's a single plastic piece The housing looks to be glued shut and I cannot open the housing. I cracked one as I was trying to pry it open.

So any alternative as to changing the side markers bulb? Are there two different side marker assemblies for our cars? Should I order another set (correct set)? Someone point me to the right direction.... I can order a different oem set if I can swap out the bulb...

So I called around and found out there are 2 separate assemblies. The older part number ended with a "A" and the newer part number ends with "B"

The newer part cannot be opened but the older part can be opened. Now my question is are the connectors the same on older and newer side marker assembly?
 
Hey thanks for the information. it looks quite easy and smooth to go head. well i have not experienced with these things. but then surely if necessary i will go head and do the same. once again thanks.

 
Mongolian, what did you end up doing? I just took off my sidemarker and also noticed that you cannot just replace the bulb.
 
I haven't had time to see if the old version was compatible with the new version. I left it alone for now. Maybe if we get together with humberto, we can see if his side marker fits our model.
 
Technically, you can, just gotta be pretty careful. I had to use slight heat gun and melt the adhesive. then pop off the lens. Then use 3M adhesive glue to put them back. Below is a pic of mine after i was done.
