I recently took all my door panels off to be able to wrap the wood trim. Make sure you are very gentle when prying off the arm rest covers as not to brake the clips. Wiggle the cover gently from side to side as you are pulling it away from the door. I started from the bottom of the cover (closer to the ground) and worked my way up, broke only 1 clip out of the 4 covers and I can live with that. I didnt use the pry tool for that, just my finger tips. Also helps that I have an average size fingers that could be used instead of the pry tool.
just be PATIENT.. cant stress that enough.
For the door cover, start from where the speaker is at the corner and pry out the bottom first, then work your way to the top. Those clips are a bit more sturdy compared to the arm rest clips, but you still need to be gentle and firm at the same time.. no I'm not describing a porno! lol
Once the bottom clips have been pulled you'll need to push the cover up (slightly) and pull it out at the same time to get the clips at the top of the cover out. Be sure not to yank it out as there's a few wires and the door actuator connected to it; you definitely don't want to rip out any wires. Each door should take about 10mins and half bottle of beer to complete!
I also started with the rear doors to get some practice before moving to the front doors.
PATIENCE is key
