How did you find iS?

I did a search on "Google" and it brought me here. Really good site and like mentioned up above, everyone does seem mature.

I have been on this site all day long, I'm hooked and I just signed up yesterday.

I also read Dallace's post about the Scene and I came over (no invites .. :frown:). Like Rich (Aiya) had mentioned, for a while it felt like I was the only one from the East Coast and everyone else was from Cali and Canada but I'm glad it has grown to what it is today.

Thanks to all the Admins, Mods and the rest of the Staff of :iS: for their hardwork and support without asking anything in return.

Just cruisin the .org one day and Jeff sent me a PM axin' me to be a mod @ iS. I had no idea what it was really, but followed the problematic pin-head drama and wasn't surprised in the least that the split happened. Of course I agreed and joined up here within a day or two of that PM.

As for Turbo's older post regarding Grand Central Station full of John Q. Publics, I honestly wish they were all over here also. I like having the severely uninformed mixed in with the chop/repair/rebuild/redefine enthusiasts here.

Speaking of chop and rebuild, how do '09 front fenders compare to 03-08?

Someone from this board (I don't remember who it was) posted some pics of a previous Cali meet over on the org, and I followed them here.

My job here is to add some more weight to the "mod rookie/newbie" side of the equation, as for the most part it seems like most of the peeps here are experts already.

i saw viet's widebody pics from the other site with the is logo. perfect timing since i was looking for other fx sites at the time.

I wanted a FX specific forum and googled it. Found this and FX.org. The design, community and atmosphere here made my selection easy. This is a great forum and holds huge potential I believe. It does need increased activity though.

^^^I agree, but I do think activity and this forum in general is and has been growing steadily. Don't want a overload all at once. The org seemed to have had that and I really didn't like the crowded and distant feel of the board after a while.

+1 GOOGLE and thats how I found the org too:top:

The org is OK but I've found that questions are answered much faster on:iS: and I really like the way this site is set up. GOOD JOB!:top:

Found it on the org, hesitated to participate for a while but eventually this site has overcome org in almost any ways.. Maybe less of an encyclopedia that the org is but it covers in almost all other ways. My post count explains that:
597 posts since July 2007 (first post not until April) at :iS:
1008 posts since May 2007 at the .org
