How did you find iS?

I got an over the phone invite a couple day into IS being formed. Logged into the site but a couple weeks later my bookmark wouldn't work. (what happen???) I thought that IS was short lived and no more. I happen to do a search a few weeks after that and found you guys going strong.

Hats off to the Admins, Mods, and Members...without them iS wouldn't be iS!
+1 totally agree! Thax

Actually I found out about the IS from Dallace's thread at the .org, and than was asked by Cube to come over, thanks Frank .

I check out both forums daily, and I'm happy there is another FX forum, and friendly group of people I can interact with on regular basis. Thanks to everyone, who made this site possible, for a job well done.

Same story with me, 'cept I wandered over randomly. The information just kept building and building to the point that I couldn't lurk any longer.

It was kind of the same story with the beginnings of the org. I wandered over there from FA but was disappointed at the lack of content. A year later when I got my FX I found it again and was amazed at how much it grew. Pretty much the same here. Except the pace that :iS: grew was pretty amazing. It did kind of feel like a Cali club here for a while, but turk, turbo, kenny and the other east coasters made it easier for me to poke my nose in now without feeling like I don't belong.

yeah, actually I was lurking here for a few months before & also had seen all the bs from the pinstripe dude over there, this seemed more like a spin off forum of a bunch of close knit cali guys that all knew each other well, & I almost felt like too much of an outsider, I was happy when humberto dragged me in:tongue:

this is the smaller but more performance oriented forum, where the org is more like grand central station, & filled with tons & tons of people, but not necisarily all really "car guys" either. there is the masses, here is the gearheads:laugh:

Got a personal invite from Jeff, as timing was right cause I was getting sick of the bs going on at the org. Within the 1st few weeks of the rebirth of IS, it was evident, the guys that did real mods found their way to the scene and girls that were into pin striping continued to f-up a sweet ride and make it look like a cheap whore, could be found on other sites. Got sick of an idiot telling other what they should or should not do, when his ride was the most fugly looking pos wagon. Guys here respect each other and understand everybody's personal taste is different.

Jeff, hats off to you and the rest of the guys for your hard work and devotion on making this site the place to be for us modders.

I came here after Dallace posted the infomation at the Org. I had seen InfinitiScene watermarks in a couple of Rookie's posts before that but couldn't locate the site at first.

found it on the org, then dr. 2k said come check it out, and in my opinion this is way better than the org. more organized and i like all the admins and mods, very friendly people...

:hello:

was looking for an fx forums just dedicated to them, didnt really like the set-up on the org and is is much easier and great topic discussions

I cant remember exactly. I was on the org and then somehow knew rookie was involved with a new site, so I joined. I had no Idea this site was around in 05,as I had no Infiniti, but I was on as soon as you guys set it up and all at the org new. I love both sites!!
