How can I remove and reinstall the cigar jack?

I would get my iPod cable into the center console.
How can I remove and reinstall the cigar jack in the center console?

I tried, but it is reaaaaaaally stubborn and have no idea how to...:confused:
 
I ran mine to the center console - but I didnt leave it in there. From the Sirius unit it goes underneath the carpet and then into the center console, but comes right back out by the passenger seat so I can just leave it in the cup holder or on the passenger seat. I didnt want to have to open up the center console each time I wanted to access the iPod. Its not as clean....but thats what I wanted. Plus each time you start the car, you have to use JohnMax's method of pausing it and connecting it to be able to control it from the iPod as the steering wheel controls are very limited as are the dash board controls. Its a lot easier to just control it from the iPod directly.
