how can i add a little bump to my car stereo?

Im not to familiar with speaker systems but i wanted to add a little more bass to my stock car stereo system for cheap.
 
I'd like to know as well, I think the 1st gens had way more bass than the 2nd gen. Playing music in my 2nd gen I was extremely disappointed to know they opted to lower the bass levels unless my system has a problem...
 
for cheap? get a cheap secondhand subwoofer/ cheap box/ wire it to the stereo… Im trying to remember a mod people were doing on the first ten that boosted bass a little but not sure if it works on second gen… the above can coast as little as $100 or less you just need to search local listings etc.

I have no idea wether it would work on a 2nd gen.

Again I don't know if it has been done, but I am willing to bet it would work...
