Houston Coffee and Cars

Actually no - I was not in this part of the lot. I arrived 10 minutes early (7:50) and it seems if you want a decent spot in the middle of the pack - people were arriving at 630. I was on a far edge of the lot but still plenty of traffic and some cool cars on my row. The LFA was actually the closest the photographer got - about two rows away from me.

I'm not gonna tell you guys I'll be there and not show up. So I am not saying I will or will not, but I have actually NEVER been to one of these and would like to come.

If I am there look for me in the silver facelifted E46 touring (its a wagon lol).

Well I've never met you in person, Riaz. I'll be there - probably in the Miata this time. I have only missed one or two of these over the past year. Just wish it wasn't so freaking HOT here.

Haha brad you end up leaving right when it starts up lol. I won't be able to make it, I'm going to San Antonio for the weekend.

We've met. You came down to Clear Lake before you were turbo and parked next to my 45 at one of the meets. Chatted for about 30mins before I left, you checked out my wheels/exhaust and you showed me your sub setup.

I didn't clean my wagon, it's dirty from an Austin trip amongst other things. If I make it I'll be riding dirty in it lol.

I'm super tired right now...so it depends on what time I get to sleep tonight which will determine the ride time in the morning. I might sleep straight through it hahahahaha.

It would have been nice to chat for a bit tomorrow, but it's highly unlikely I will make it. I wanted to pick your brain on the engineering field.

Oh yeah I totally remember that - behind the NASA1 hooter's off I-45. For some reason I didn't realize that was you.

It's all good if you can't make it - they have them every month. Next time.

We can talk Engineering too - just this week I'm moving to a new department within Boeing. After 7 years on Space Station and then 7 years on Space shuttle, I'll be going back to Space Station projects. I'm happy to stay there as long as they can use me. It's a great company to work for.

Ugh...I woke up at 11:15am lol. First time I've slept more than 5 hours this week. It was almost 10 hours of sleep hahahaha.

How was it this morning?

I decided not to pursue grad school and stay in healthcare. I'm going back for another bachelors and have already been accepted into the PE program. I'm feeling kind of old to be basically starting all over, but its only for a few years.

Once again I only snapped a few photos. It's tough to photo-document when I can just go back to see it all again next month...

On the ride to Vintage Park, I passed by seven or eight exotics. Road shot:

Awesome paint on this car. My camera doesn't do any of these cars justice.

Liked this row so much I took a video. Anybody want to guess the value in dollars on this row?

^ my guess of the LFA owner is chinese :wink (2):

Because of the plate? He's not - met him a couple times. Must have meaning for him unless it really is a random plate and not vanity.

I'm always amazed at how many exotics show up. Had no idea there were even this many in Houston. I've been coming to this meet long enough that they have started to lose their appeal - not such a special thing to see one up close anymore, lol.
