Hot Import Nights Pomona 8/9/08

I was planning on being out there. Had the camera and flash batteries charged and ticket in hand. BUT I had a knock at the door about mid afternoon, the ex dumped the kids off and ran. :mad: Now im reading post that have me really hatin the ex.

Next time i need to schedule a booking.:tongue:

Howd you make out Rookie? Did you go up against trucks? Mini-trucks?
 
The show was cool. I didn't get to get over to the modern muscle area where most of the trucks and suvs were. I did see lots o weird positioned trucks and suvs showing off the bags and stuff.

I got 1st SUV and Hottest Engine Visual. :biggrin:

Oh there is. I got the actual scores from the NCCA judging system. I do well, but a lot of the categories I don't really maximize on. My ICE is pretty minimal, my audio while it's clean and the quality is good doesn't pop out at you.
 
Yeah I agree. The judge has judged me in the past, and he wouldn't really give me any suggestions cause he didn't want me to make stupid changes just to score higher. It is what it is.:smile:

BTW: the guy who bought your STB was lucky to have you give him a private showing of your ride!!

Also vendors selling you stuff should not only try to give you the best price, but should also consider giving you stuff, since you are in a high profile position!!
With your endorsements, things sell! Your like M Phelps, like him he will be reaping the benefits of being a winner.:cool:

I dig it, people have told me in the past I shouldn't be paying for stuff. BUT, it kinda dilutes my input on topics if my input could some how be skewed due to endorsing products cause they are free.

Anything I have on my FX is there cause I want it to be there. Any shops I use are cause I want to use them. :biggrin:
