hopefully my last exhaust question

i plan to get a bolt on cat back for a g35. i know i need to extend the tips, but i want to put it on myself.would it hurt anything to install it then drive to shop next day to get tips extended??

I did it, and you will be fine, just make sure you get it done asap,

you will just have more drown in the cabin without extending past the bumper
(thats another question)

I did exactly the same thing when installed my s-tune exahust. drove it for over a week with no problems at all. yes it will be louder in the cabin, but not horribly.

I'd be less worried about the noise and more worried about the exhaust heat on the bumper. Fine for short drives, but definitely get the tips done soon.
