Hollywood007's Super Charged ProjectFX

It was after the second delay that I went out and bought a Miata off Craigslist for $1700. If I added up the number of weeks I would have needed to rent a car, it paid for itself before I got my FX back.

Hope it goes more smoothly for you! Excited for you - good luck with the rest of the build!

I knew when I posted that last post that you would be the 1st to reply. lol How long was your build supposed to take? Actually don't answer that, I don't want to get stressed out. :tonguey: You must be so happy to have yours back, I can't wait! but, I will have to..

200whp? Was about the "259hp/235tq" stock dyno pull in the last video?

: just got a call that's it's gonna be another week before I can pick up the FX from GTM. Today was the 1st day they have started it since putting the completed Super Charger on it, now begins the testing and tuning I assume. Looks like I gotta go back and get another rental car. BLaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I was going to type out a whole big explanation of some of the details that slowed progress a bit but bottom line ... perfection takes some time.

and for the record anyone that has ever asked me about upgrades my first suggestion is at least a second vehicle. You just have to be careful and make sure you get a BORING second vehicle or you'll wind up with two project cars and still looking for a ride to work. :tongue (2):

550 hp... WOW !!!

Is the 2nd gen FX tranny much stronger than 1st gen?

I remember for the 1st gen, the tranny can only take up to 415hp

Looks like it'll be lots of fun once completed. Can't wait to see more videos esp from Tony... ( parking lot shannanigans )

lol I can just see a huge burnout and then all of a sudden Hollywood checks his rearview mirror and his tranny is behind him sitting on the road. Ok....that wouldn't be funny.

Sounds very good!

Hey Tony, you pick your jaw off the floor yet. I bet you're spinning in circles in anticipation.

You have no idea! I stopped by GTM today just so I could drag my fingers across the hood (I mean that in the dirtiest way possible!), it was worth the drive. SHould be any day now. The guys at GTM couldn't be more cool when I'm over there.

That video is awesome. I don't think you'll have any trouble recreating your drifting video when you get your FX back...

Excuse me while I go change my pants....WOW!

We are all just as excited to see the finished results!

Young blood... By far you are ahead of the game. Body kits are worth nothing if you don't have anything to back it up with.

I can't wait to step up my game and meet at the track buddy. Lol.

Still amazed of the sound from the pull he did from 1:23 - 1:30.... .. I wish I had some extra cash on side to do that.
