Want to try and do this with my FX50?

Looking good man. Sam has made this look just as good as the ones on the G37 and 370. Oil cooler and trans cooler are in a nice location. few questions As i cannot read all the posts as they are blocked here at work.

1) Did you do any up grades to the trans
2) Are you running any type of monitoring system ( Camp 2 etc)

Want to try this on a FX50? No joke. Just got to let the wife let me have the FX for 60 days. Would be awsome to have 2 GTM cars in the garage.

basically on the FX if its up in the air for an oil change you can undo just the front flap of the wheel well and drop it out the bottom.


and Shumby i think we should give the VQ powered FX's time to enjoy the HP superiority before you ship that thing down for a Supercharger install on the V8.

... and i'm not just saying that because the design and install on a V6 w/ out AWD (in an engine bay that was designed for an AWD V8) was almost relaxing compared to the normal insanity here. :wink (2):

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. Very nice. I never thought about accessing it from the bottom. I might have to revisit that filter location...

Ya but i promised that I will not come down with the car this time and bug you guys everyday. But on a side note the wife made her i don't think so face :alien: when i told her. soo it will take time to convince her. lol

But good to see you guys are still at it I think Sam needs to give you all raises (but take a pay cut himself so our prises don't go up. lol)

Neat how you're not only have the pleasure to be a test mule and be the first to a lot of new products, but to go along with that -- opening up new products for the rest of the 2nd generation FXers as you continue modding.

If you only bought a 2003 FX45... I would have more mods! =)
 
: just got a call that's it's gonna be another week before I can pick up the FX from GTM. Today was the 1st day they have started it since putting the completed Super Charger on it, now begins the testing and tuning I assume. Looks like I gotta go back and get another rental car. BLaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
 
It was after the second delay that I went out and bought a Miata off Craigslist for $1700. If I added up the number of weeks I would have needed to rent a car, it paid for itself before I got my FX back.

Hope it goes more smoothly for you! Excited for you - good luck with the rest of the build!
