I finally installed my HKS exhaust (mid+rear) .
Did this on my own in about 1h30min so is a pretty easy mod to do :biggrin: .

So i recorded a small clip of the sound .
The sound is just perfect , not to loud and a nice growl at WOT .

Very Nice. Very agressive but not too loud.

I like the HKS sound as well as Nismo.

I would've taken me two days to do something like that myself.

I did not jack up the car . I just went under it and did all the work .
So i tried takinking pictures but it just did not go well because i did not had enough space .
It really is not that hard to do yourself . And you save some money :biggrin: .
But its much easier if you have some extra hands to help out .

Excellent, another HKS exhaust=)

You did this by yourself? Very impressive. Some of those bolts were hard to get off and ended up using air tools.
 
Yep , all alone .

The bolts were actually very easy .
I had the most problem with the exhaust rubbers .

Its a good exhaust , great quality , good price and a nice sound .
 
Very nice, I love my hks....

The sound will become a bit deeper and louder as it ages.
 
I just reconize this car and his sig. Flow just sold his FX to somebody here in the Netherlands and lives in my neigbourhood. This is the car from wich i heard the sound of in real.
Heard from the new owner that Flow bought a new Audi RS4, on of my favorites also ;-)
 
Love it. Sounds great. And HKS make good stuff. Am I correct to believe that the HKS is built specifically for the FX and requires no modifications to install?

Does anyone have any recommendations where I can get one from in the US?

Yes thats true HKS will fit our FX straight away and doesn't need any modifications. Other guys here on the forum made use of 350Z systems wich need to be extended.
Off course there are more systems for our FX wich fit right away,but HKS is one of them.

I found a good price at www.mynismo.com where i would buy it from, that was before i found one on ebay :wink:for less.

I'll try to get some as soon as i mounted the thing. Unfortunalty mine is still lying at a contact of mine in New York and i hope to get it within 2 weeks or so.

As shipping of such big packages to europe is so high i need to arrange to ship things together :top:
