BTW, Nice Suspension.

I thought there were fitment issues that Viet ran into with these coil overs, no? Besides the cutting of the rear rubber spring seat were there any other issues with the installation? How is the ride?

Just confused about what rookie had said about these coilovers and what fx35ky is saying. I don't recall exactly what rookie said but I was under the impression that these kits did not fit the FX with a lot of modification.

yes, you are correct they are from a murano.

but i put em on already and they fit perfect and the ride is great, fully adjustable. i should have the pictures up soon

i had trouble with the rears because the rubber part that lies on top so the spring wouldn't fully fit right.. so i had to trim it a bit

1. How does the ride compare to stock?
2. Can you describe the rear upper rubber mount fix? Did you try a lower mount in its place or was it more than just a thickness issue?

This is a great find......

I thought I remembered viet saying that with the murano coilovers even when it was adjusted all the way up it was still very slammed & that it was pretty stiff too, then the rear wouldn't really go low enough even with the whole adjuster removed. I remember thinking that if the strut itself is the correct length though then a spring swap may straighten it out for the front? either way that looks good, def like to check it out one day... welcome to IS

Yea, that's sort of what I got from Veit's experiment with these HKS coilovers.

The apollo was the one that wouldn't go really low in the rear. The HKS went really low since the spring is so short.

Overall the Murano stuff bolts right up. Fronts work well, rear I think the shock travel is a little short.

I think I saw this car on the 60FWY near 60/15 FWY interchange. Brilliant Silver with painted stocks... It sat pretty low and it was driving like a little street racer -_-;;; I hope that wasn't you...

updates to how they are handling so far, now that you've had some time to ride them longer? Thanks.
