HKS coilovers

I got HKS coilovers for my fx35

-friends told me they didn't make coilovers for my car, but i ran into some and hopped on them.

The coils were special ordered but i guess they had a set laying around at dynamic and Gruppe-s.

I don't believe those are specific to the FX and are probably for the nissan murano. Unless its something I have not yet seen those coilovers will not work without some modification. And welcome the Scene.

Btw, I hope your able to get a refund if they don't work out. Hope you didn't jump the gun before doing some research and asking around for some advice here on the Scene.

+1 I was gonna say... They don't make coilovers for FX. it's probably the one for Murano. If it is made for FX. Sign me up!

Didn't some guys at the Japanese FX's website installed coilover?..

I think that's from KW garage or something. I rather use that than Apollo...

I heard those are really expensive but the install is really easy with lil modification.

RS-R makes some. Currently on their website they have the new second gen FX and at the current exchange rates you are looking at 3489.46USD plus shipping.

I believe I read that someone who is infamous would have been able to get the first gen RS-R coilovers but no one took them up on the offer because of cost...

yes, you are correct they are from a murano.

but i put em on already and they fit perfect and the ride is great, fully adjustable. i should have the pictures up soon

I really got them for a good deal, friend work had coil overs laying around and i jumped on them.

THE installation wasn't really that hard.

took about 2 hours, the front were really easy.

i had trouble with the rears because the rubber part that lies on top so the spring wouldn't fully fit right.. so i had to trim it a bit

I guess I will just ask my buddy to do the calculation and call the manufacture to custom made one specifically for the 03~08 FX. I would like to have a coil over specifically designed for the FX with the right spring rate and other accessories.

Nice pic, keep 'em comin'! I had H&R coilovers on my old Audi A6 4.2 and I love the drop and stance it gave.
