High Mileage FX 35

Hey guys,
Curious on your thoughts on buying an 04 35 with 180k miles?

The guy who owned it was a subi mechanic and has had it since 2018. It passed emissions on 8/6.

I'm generally a toyota guy so 180k isn't crazy but I haven't had an Infiniti yet.

I bought my '06 with about 175K on it... but i figured it was going to need a few things replaced/repaired eventually and planned for it.

My boss has one with 289,000 miles on it. He’s bitching about changing the spark plugs and has ignored it needing done for about 50k.

He bought it from a customer at our shop who had us do all maintenance after original warranty was over. So, we knew the history.

He changes the oil w/synthetic 5w-30 every 5k or so. Does very little beyond that.

It runs like a top, and he definitely does not drive it delicately.
