HID's turn on sometimes

I have 6000K HID headlights (OEM except for bulbs), and 6000k HID kit for the 9006 fogs. I never had a problem when it was warm out (over ~40 degrees), but now that it's down in the 0-30 degrees F, my lights decide when they want to turn on.

Sometimes I'll have all fogs on and one headlight. If I run the car for a second and turn off the lights and back on, they all work fine.

I'm guessing it's because I have my lights on auto and at the crank, there isn't enough juice to power up all four ballasts. I think someone mentioned that they re-wired the HID fog kit to be powered somewhere else so this wouldn't happen.

Any ideas on what I can do? Maybe even a quick fix of optima battery with higher cranking power than OEM battery?

I can always leave my lights on the "off" position, and then turn my lights on after my car is warmed up, but I like leaving the lights on auto (yes, i'm turning lazy).

lol At least he was nice enough to reply to the post. Since more people have HID kits now, it's a good thread revival.
