HID Bulb Wire Twist

I just replaced my crappy ebay HID bulbs with morimoto bulbs and when removing the casing, I accidentally 'twisted' the cap and bent the wire that connects to the bulb. I carefully bent it back to its original position.....

Would this kill the life expectancy of the bulb or I am being paranoid??

Yes there is a possibility that the life expectancy of the bulb will be decreased. I read somewhere that you aren't even suppose to touch that wire thing attached to the bulbs capsule.

Not the yellow wire.......the electrode wire that connects to the bulb itself.......it was slight twisted when i removed the enclosed capsule protector thing, I thought it was a twist off. Then when I pulled off the cap thing, I realized the wire was off center from the twisting motion.......

I twist it back and still works, but when I turn on the lights, it starts off slightly purple then warms up and matches the other bulb that I didn't mess up on.
