A couple members have had theirs painted black. Color-matching your paint might look good too.

I blacked out my handles, rear trim, and grill. I went to an automotive paint supply store to get a can of aerosol to match my paint but they said that any aerosol will fade in the sun light over time. He showed me panels that have been painted on his car with aerosol and they had faded bad over a year. And black is the worst. So, I called a friend of mine who does air brushing and she colored matched it and sprayed all my trim. The problem is that paint doesn't stick to chrome very well at all so I got this stuff called Bulldog which helps the paint adhere better. You can sand them but then you run the chance of seeing the scuff marks. The girl who sprayed them just used the Bulldog first then sprayed them with a mini-gun. I even went to the dealership before I did all this and tried to buy unpainted handles and trim but they aren't available. Only chromed. Sorry for the novel.
