Hello all. Great site and forum. I picked up a black 06 FX35 last October. I'll be glad to post a pic once I hit 10 posts. All my chrome is at the paint shop getting sprayed black. I should have it back on Wednesday. My lights are getting vinyl smoked on Friday and my wheels are getting powder coated in 3 weeks. After that I will throw some wheel spacers on then look at some motor mods. The only thing I've done so far is throw an ipod adapter in. I have an aftermarket ceiling mount dvd player so I used the second input for that. There's a wealth of info here and I appreciate that.

One question: what's the best way to get the stick-tape residue off after removing the badges?

Thanks. I've always wanted a murdered ride, now its time. Its about to rain/snow here in Utah and driving around without trim, grill, and handles is not the best idea. I hope my parts are dry by tomorrow.
 
HAHA! 10 posts! Here she is (as of last week). The grill, handles, and rear trim is black now but I can't wash it yet to take new pics.

I'm smoke tinting all the lights/reflectors and back vinyling the lower chrome trim next Thursday. Then my wheels are getting powder coated in a few weeks. I just can't bring myself to spend the bread for new wheels when I can just powder coat my OEM 20s for $60/wheel or so. So, far its been cheap as I have friends that do painting and vinyl work. I'm not looking for a second mortgage for modding. :wink:
