ok here is where are at they where working on the seat and he noticed the passqnger seat was doing the same thing then the radio went put and a bunch of electrical gremlins....they are going to talk to infiniti his service guy wonders if he fried the computer...so ill keep ya updated
 
Did you check out other FX's in the area? There are tons, and the subways should be good enough to get you to the dealers. If you have a smartphone be sure to dl the "NYC Bus & Subway Maps" to get around... no reception underground except for in the times square/a few other major stations.

Update! Car is going to Infiniti Monday. To fix it/figure it out. They have offered to reimburse me for some of the travel and ship it to me on them.

Why do you consider it a lemon if a mechanic fried the computer? And the computer is replaced? Everything else has been fixed to my understanding. I will ask them while it's at the dealer to fix the seat.

Not exactly sure. He was working on the driver seat not moving. Then noticed the passenger seat not working. Then the radio went out and. It won't go into gear unless manually put there and engine won't. And such no idea what he did
 
Alright, heard from the dealer

its the main computer. they also found issues with the wiring so the wiring harness would have to be replaced. at the tune of 2K...so they are almost positive they are not going to allow me to purchase it.

is there really a huge difference in the Sport package to non sport package? i know the wheels are different, the suspension is different and the tail lights, and the interior trim. is this all? is it really that large of a difference with the different suspension? Im sure i can buy the tail lights. that are different, are the headlights different?
 
You hit it all. There is NO difference in the suspension. The headlight housing is black chrome instead of bright chrome.

So are headlights easily replaced or is that not as noticeable as the rear tail lights and I'm sure 20 inch rims could be put on and the speedometer adjusted.
 
The headlight is easily replaced, but a set of sport going to cost you anywhere from $300 - $400. Most of us open the headlights up and painted the chrome in black (flat, satin, or gloss). I recently did a set using VHT NightShade over chrome and I love the look. It's like black chrome, but at certain angle you'll see brown/purple. It doesn't bother me.

As for the wheel size. 18" wheels mounted on 265/60 tires. 20" with 265/50. The side wall on the tire made up wheel size, to the diameter is the same for the two wheel size.
 
good ot know about the wheels, not sure id worry about the headlights....im really stuck on the orange color and they seem to be very rare. urgh this is a pain, glad the dealer broke the car isntead of me buying it then it breaking!
