This is a really stupid question, I have looked everywhere. I'm installing stainless lines, my question is on the banjo nut do you use one or two washers? One inside and one outside? Or just one on the outside? Thanks

If you tell me what lines exactly then maybe I can help more, but looking at the transmission cooler lines it seems you need two (one in each side), see drawing below from the service manual.
