I need help! I was di-nocing my interior and like a dumbass I pulled on the steering wheel trim on the left and dropped to of the little pins inside the column. Can someone please give me info on how to remove the center pad so I can gain access? I have searched all over, I think I can reinstall without ripping the whole thing apart, any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Yes, I dropped two of the freaking pins down in the cover and can't get to them, I really don't want to pull the whole wheel unless nessasary.

Hope these pics helps.

Ok, once you remove the two round plastic covers on each side of the base of the steering you'll see a T25/T20, can't remember the size. These two screws are VERY tight (at least on the four steering wheel that I have work on). Becare not to strip the head of the torx screw. Lift the airbag up should give you access and hope you'll find the two pins. If you have to disconnect the airbag from the steering wheel, remember not to turn the key to accessories, it will set off the airbag light.

I got it, thank you! I had to disconnect the battery because the horn would blow trying to take out the torq screws. All good now, once again thanks for your help.
