Help with Mp3 cd

Ususally when I play mp3 discs in my Fx it usually shows the name and artist on the screen. For the past couple of months it does not show anything on the screen. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Maybe something wrong with the lcd screen?

I assume you've tried pressing the "Display" button to cycle through the display modes.

same disc? or new cd?
maybe you put in folders that it cant recognize?

golan have u tried lookin on itunes and check if the box is checked that says "include cd text." ur the 1 that taught me that like 2 years ago

You could do that for an audio cd. Not an mp3 cd.

I think my friend who has an 04 plays mp3s but im not 100% sure. Mine used to show the track but now even the cds that showed them doesnt show the song name. It just says " Root Folder "

I had an mp3 cd before and it played fine. I just burned a new one and it reads as "error". What could be the problem?

When you organize music prior CD burning, open music folder in this programm and save mp3 tags as ID v2.3 (not 2.4). After that you can be sure that Infiniti will be able to read your tags.

i have an 05 45 but did not even try mp3 ... didnot want to ruin a cd but will try
