Hi i am looking for 22" rims to my fx 35 awd 2004.
But before i order i want to know how wide i can go on the rims, wich offset ?
Today i am running 20" 265/50 and feel the weels should be further out. uploadfromtaptalk1466881747153.webp

I'm running 22 x 10.5 front an 22 x 11.5 rear with 35mm positive offset and 305/40/ZR22's all around and mine are flush with the fender without any spacers and they fill that gap in the wheel well. I don't have any problems with rubbing the fenders.

When I ran GTR wheels on my first gen the rears (20x10.5 + 25) + 295 tires rubbed the fender lining when dropped on eibach springs.
Mine is not dropped. Live in norway where the roads are like shit, so you think 22x10.5 +25 will rubb fender lining?

What is the original offset on 1 gen ? Is it differense in awd and rwd?
Can a awd have different tire size front and rear ?

Not sure of the offsets on first gens, but you can have a staggered setup on AWD if you compensate with the tire sizing so they have the same rolling diameter. I have staggered GTR's with 20x9.5 (265/50R20) and 20x10.5 (295/45R20).

Offset for 1st Gen wheels

Offset for 1st Gen wheels (18" & 20") is +40. No difference for AWD or RWD. You can have different size tire as long as the rolling diameter of the tires are not too far apart.
