Hey guys I'm new here but thought I'd ask for your advice. I bought a 2005 fx35 sport a month ago with 140000 miles. I changed the passenger side front and rear wheel bearings. While a was doing the front of course the speed sensor broke so I changed that as well. I used auozones duralast part. Everything was good and fine till yesterday 4 different lights popped onto the dash. It's the slip, awd, vdc off, and the abs light. Occasionally over driving the brake light will come on for a second. I have a code scanner and scanned and came up with three codes: c1107 front right sensor: p1722 vehicle speed sensor motor and: p0615 starter relay motor. But no CEL. I filled the brake fluid right up to the max mark. The brake pads and rotors are far from worn out. The c1107 sensors code is for the one I replaced. I took the sensor off and cleaned everything , still the lights are one. With the c1107 is it maybe a defective sensor?? I am annoyed at the lights and wanna clear them if I can. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!!!

Like I mentioned I topped off the brake fluid. Is it the sensor if c1107 is the code that comes up? I already replaced the right wheel sensor when I changed the wheel bearing? Any thoughts??

It looks like that error is usually pointing to the wheel sensor. Might not be installed correctly or you just got a bad sensor? My stock one broke like yours did, they are fragile when handled. I replaced mine as well, but with OEM and never had a problem. I'm going with a bad or broken sensor.

Thankyou for the fast replies. I would think too that it is pointing to the sensor. I ordered in another duralast sensor since I know the autozone guys and they will replace it for free. I'm questioning if the vehicle doesn't recognize the duralast sensor versus oem. Will find out Tuesday. Any other thoughts appreciated

I have after market abs sensors in mine and another FX35 without any issue. Sorry about the brake fluid comment. I didn't read through your entire post.

No worries, I might have come across too strong. But I very appreciate any response, I wanna get these lights off my dash. I cannot stand if any lights come on the dash. Including the gas light:) hurts the pocket. Anyway I'll work on getting them off, and I'll keep u posted......

Hi all.thanks for the help I finally tonight got my free replacement sensor from autozone. I installed it and in the 30 seconds of driving the light went out..... I just bought my 05 fx sport with navigation a month ago and I'm trying to get all the maintenance things out of the way so I can get along to some of the "funner" things:) so far I changed two of the wheel bearings the abs sensor, and the gear so in the driver seat so It's god back and forth. Would u recommend doing the other wheel bearings, even though I can't feel play in them??

I would not do the other bearings until it is needed. The rear requires the use of a press to remove and install the hub onto the bearing. From my expeience of doing the rears bearing in a home garage or diy job, I don't see an easier way without removing the rear half shaft so that you can get to the four bolts that holds the assembly to the knuckle.

Thanks for the fast reply. I actually changed the front and rear passenger side bearings. I know the rear ones are kinda a pita to do, but I got it done. I'll prolly just wait then to do the driver side till they act up. Thanks again for the fast reply and am looking forward to working with u more in the future....
