Help removing third brake light please.

Anyone know how the third brake light comes out? Have to do some work in that area.

Do i have to remove the whole inner hatch panel?

There are three little plastic mini panels under the light on the inside of the hatch plastic. Pop them off (take care to not damage them) then use a long socket to spin them off carefully to make sure the nut stays in side the socket and does not fall off inside the hatch PITA alert. You can wrap the outer edge of the socket with blue tape so if it does fall off you have a safety net.

When you remove the light make sure you disconnect the wire by squeezing the quick connect tab on the light assembly.
