I visited the Essen Motorshow in germany yesterday where i talked to my contact guy from KW Suspension.
I did quit some coilover sets trueout the year from them so that always talks a bit easier.
We were talking about promoting KW and that it's best you always have a car in your shop with a set on so you can take a ride with potential clients convinsing them to go for KW.
I said:" Yes i always do that, but unfortunalty you do not have any set for my current vehicle, wich is an infiniti FX"

He went like ohhh be patient a bit, i know my boss just ordered one....do you have the new model. I was like uhm no......:embarrassed: and a custom job will costs me € 3800,- eurie excl. VAT :err:
He was like noooooo, give me a call we can work something out. I'll give you a better pricing.
But what i want to achive is that they take it up in production so you guys can get it as well of course

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW and can't figure out myself here in the netherlands yet, is how far the "New" suspension is different from our "Old".
If the differences are not that big, i can try to convince the guys from KW to make a set for the older version as well.
The integrated into the US market last year making kits for several US cars as well as the G35 for example. Till now they didn't see much in the FX,maybe because they knew there was coming a new model.
But with the Big Boss behind KW driving the new FX i might just get him positiv enough.

Who can help me out.......?? Pics / details / etc...... i'll do my best

P.s: Please keep in mind that this is all discussed between KW and me so please do not start shouting about it to any KW dealers yet as they do not know anything and will create all sorts of confusion. As it looks now they want to make a one-off for me.but i want to try to go for production

Ray, as far as I know, the new (2009+ ?) suspension doesn't use mcphearson type struts anymore. TurboCad would know better as he was the first one to swap his struts with KYB ones.

IF they make it. You can count me in line for sure. Willing to put money down. VARIANT 3 hint hint

Will keep it in mind  They also got a sort alternative for air ride....did you see it

Ege, I got his intel on the .org and indeed doesn't seem to work out. Will contact them soon and try to ask what they would accept as a minimum GB to except this car for production or one off deal.

update: a 1 off set will cost me 2K euro's excl VAT. Thing is that i cannot go any lower due to my front design and need to add their Hydrolic new system as well at the front. It's calles KW HLS ( Hydrolic Lift System ) they've got an universal kit wich they can add. With one touch on a button the car races almost 2 inch.
This kit is developt in order for Porsche and Lamborghini of wich certain models have this stock for speedbumps.
KW did this for them and the developt this for other cars as well. Thing is it cost me Nett ( Being a dealer ) also 2K excl Vat.
So total of 4K excl VAT for the little bit of extra lowering......honestly at this point a little to much for me wanting so many other things......

I've got H&R and am quite happy with it. If there wasn't anything else to buy it 'll be different.
Air-Ride...?? No thanks haven't got to good experiance with that personally.

So who has 4K left.......Ege...??
