started working on the angel eyes today and cant seem to get this wire out of the connector. I think thats how everyone did theres? or did you just drill a giant hole through the light and stick it through?

Cut the connector off (2" back), and splice it back together once you take it thru the housing.

got the wires out rookie. just wedged a safety pin in there and the wire slid out, no need to cut :)

i might have more questions later on so ill post here :)

Cool. :D

Be sure to add some pressure to the release pin so it doesn't pop out afterwards. Progress pics?

just got the headlights and its going straight into the oven to make some FX goodies :)

Randy may have some left over, I'll ask him to look. Can you show me a picture of the inverter to make sure they are the same ones you need?

yea those old rings were pretty fragile. Randy ended up snapping a few while redoing the angel eyes that went bad on the very first batch.

heres the pics rookie and i think i need 2 of them :(

90% positive he does not have any of those lights left over. The second order is the ones he has extras of. Will let you know tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

Not sure if Tummy still has any lights. Randy has a few extra sets of the current lights, not sure if any new inverters have shipped out lately.

so i went ahead with the install with only 1 halo in each headlight. after i finished i realized that i should have put the ring on the outside and not on the HID ring, would have looked better that way but ohh well

heres some pics, they arent great but im happy to have blacked out headlights :) will take better pics once the FX is washed and clean

Thats the way these were installed by Randy. I don't know what you mean by "should have put the ring on the outside and not on the HID ring".

They look fine to me and very nice job at that.

theres only 1 halo ring in each headlight...so if i put the halo infront of the turn signal part it would stand out more than where it is now, over the HID. Im not sure if i make an sense:laugh:

:laugh:yes now that makes more sense. So you now want to have it on the turn signal housing bezel instead of the HID housing bezel.
