Help finding the CL 80A program to reload...

I love my Osiris tune, but the installers overlaid the wrong computer system on my '06 FX45, so I lost my Cruise Control. Now I need to find a copy of my old computer system, CL 80A, to upload. (CL 80A is the version compatible with the old style cruise control.) I couldn't find a thread about this one. Any help is appreciated!


 
I had the same issue. I was finally able to find a member on here with the same ROM as me and get that pulled and sent to Uprev. Hopefully you can find someone else with it, since it will probably be more difficult with a 45. I guess it could have been a lot worse, in that the FX wasn't driveable. I just lost the laser cruise.

I think I searched people's garages on here with the same year and then would look to see if they had the little laser cruise box, and message them. Probably have better luck seeking someone out than waiting for them to see this thread.
 
Thanks StuLax18. Good idea. I am disappointed in UpRev as well as the installer here in Denver, MAC Autosport, as this is their error and they are not taking any responsibility to make it right. I will do some research here on IS.
 
Another option I looked into was buying a used ECU and having that sent to Uprev. It's really a pain to deal with if you don't want to spend too much money. Of course just buying a new ECU fixes it, but that seems silly.
 
Stulax....ever heared of rev needles wich don't work after a flash. You know i did the tranny conversion and i swapped to M/T Rom but i'm still having canbus issues and a rev needle wich is stuck and bounching up and don't at around 1K
 
The only time I've heard of it actually is my roommate's Z. I remember maybe a month or so ago he was saying his tach wouldn't move until like 1k RPM I think, or maybe something higher than that. I guess it would just sit dead, then suddenly catch up to where it should be. I feel like it could be a faulty sensor of some type that reads the RPM's. I'd think your situation would be more complicated just given all that you've done though.
 
Jup true true. But when monitoring true my haltech i get a rev signal so only the tacho doesn't work. Might be coinsadence but imidiatly after the conversion and flash ?? Could you ask him what his issues were and how he solved it ? All intell is helpfull and Rookie is MIA for these questions.
 
Sometimes the solution is as simple as that LOL. I kinda banged on it already but will probably look into it further cause i took it all apart couple of years ago for the blue led conversion so could be just that. Thanks
