HELP ! Car drives like crap :-(

I noticed gears started to shift very weird. Car lost power. Sometime power comes back. No error code,no CHECK ENGINE light.

No idea what is going on. Acceleration is very poor unless i press till the floor and then it rev up and accelerates. In normal 2-4k RPM range drives like crap. Always tries to upshift. VEry hard downshifts on braking.

Any ideas? What could cause poor performance? I honestly feel I have like 100 horses now instead of 303. :tongue (2):

Any ideas or help appreciated.
 
I've been feeling the same thing with mine lately. It doesn't seem to have the power like it should and has been shifting different at times. I.E doesn't know which gear to choose while accelerating ( esp up hills ) and doesn't downshift when it should. Thinking of going to the Infiniti dealer that I bought it from but they never even heard of the recall on the 4-3 downshift so I'm thinking of going to another dealer.
 
kinda feeling the same on my 1st gen . i think its just my head though getting used to how it drives . gonna have to get more engine mods to make it quicker .

this might happen if yu drive crazy one week (meaning you always hit the pedal or go on sport mode) then go back to driving normal remember the transmissions adapt to your driving style so basicaly said your transmision might have adapted to your "fast" driving style or you flooring it, try driving normal for about a week or so it will adapt to that style of driving. I had thw same thing until i asked my advisor... so basicaly you have nothing to worry about.
 
I disconnected battery and rested car. But still poor performance. Not like 3.5,but like 2.0 :-(
No error codes at all. Before i barely pressed pedal and it moved quick,now i press hard and poor response and then response or none at all.
 
That sucks
Time for the Dealer then. Let us know the outcome

ACTIONS 1. Refer to Step 2 in the Service Procedure to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM. See this bulletin for further detail.


Basically they'll just reflash the ECM for you.
 
made an ppointment for 08/30. Will see what dealer tells me. Hopefully they won't say I am crazy the way they told me me my annoying clicking sound in steering wheel.
 
Engine sound they said normal. Steering wheel clicking noise they ordered some part after i pushed them to,as they tried to say live with it we can't hear it. Clickign noise in axle wasn't my case. AlsoFX35 drove like crap,due to that i drove G37s for a week and after that i felt my fx35 is crap :-) ! They are reprogramming my navigation 2010 as well,as there is a recall. Also they are changing my front brake pads for free,as one side was sticky and was loud pop sound when i let go brake on light :-).....Thats it. Going to pick up it tomorrow. BTW they gve me g37 2010 as a loaner.
 
So basically your saying you thought the FX wasn't driving that great cause you got use to driving a G37 for a week, and when you went back to driving the FX, and it felt different? lol I'm confused.
