I notice you're in Houston now? Good choice, we've had the crappiest winter in a decade with long spells of miserable cold, snowy and windy weather. The FX performed flawlessly regardless of road conditions although I had to plug it in a few times when it got below 30 degrees.
Here's an interesting footnote about the transmission: When it gets really cold, the tranny will jump from D to N by itself. I talked to the service guys and was told that it's normal because the FX tranny is pressurized and after a long cold night it will need to run a while before re-pressurizing. They were right and it only happened a few times.
