Hello... NewB here.. just wanted to introduce myself

Yeah, let us know when you got a hold of your guy. I'm sure there will be a few would be interested. At least me if it not too way out of my budget :smile (2): .
I went the cheap route (dipping, water printing/transfer CF) and regretted it. Should have left them with the 3M CF wrap, sigh!

Nice looking Bimmer, was the fellow that did the carbon fiber Twisted Six, I know he made a lot of parts for the Z4 guys like front splitters, diffusers, working on a carbon roof etc.
Love the brick interior on your FX

Thanks! I'm not sure about any of his forum names... I am having a hard time finding his info, its been so long.. He was from St. Louis.. He did a lot of Audi stuff originally... I met him cause I got busted driving a euro spec RS4 that wasn't detuned for the US yet and the word spread to the Audi guys and eventually back to the owner.. He contacted me with questions about the car and we ended up building a little business relationship but its been years since we have talked..

Nice M3! So you had it supercharged and now you are driving naturally aspirated V8, can you share your driving experiences between the two cars? Power, handling, etc.

Only had the FX for less than 24 hours but managed to put a few miles on it last night  So far the FX has some smooth power.. Compared to my M it lacks the low end torque I got from the blower. The M would shoot out of the hole like a rubber band. I did every possible upgrade to my M so there really is no comparison but I like every aspect of the FX.. (I smile every time I start it) I was a little disappointed that there is not a blower made for the v8... I really figured that would be one of the first done to bump it up to the next level of performance SUVs.. The styling of the stock FX screams get out of my way, i'm just surprised that theres little offered out there to upgrade...
