Hi all

I've been a member for a while and been reading these forums since I bought my white '13 FX37 about a year ago.

It's still bone stock and there are basically three things I'd like to change.

One is I'd like to add the aero kit if there are pieces still available. I need to find out if the white ones will match the white on my car.

Second is the wheels. I've never really liked the stock 20". I saw a set on a new Q70 I liked but I think they are 9.5" wide. Need to find out if there will be any clearance issues. Also have to look around to see if there is a market in my area for the stock wheels. That would help me feel better about buying new ones.

Third is the Bose audio. They really dropped the ball there. From what I've read there isn't much that can be done so I'll probably just have to live with it as is.


So that's my story. Glad to have found a good knowledge base for these cars.

These should be available through your dealer... or INFINITIPARTSUSA.COM should be cheaper. I'm pretty sure you'll need them professionally painted after you get them.

Wheels can always be sold. Our rims also fit cars like the FORD EDGE, which really increases the market for them... They also fit any NISSAN, so if someone wants to go really low profile on an ALTIMA or MAXIMA would be interested, or any MURANO owners... I'd suggest you go to TIRERACK.COM and see what's available. They have a handy tool that shows what new rims would look like on your car! Not perfect, but pretty close! And any rims they sell are guaranteed to fit...

Lots you can do with the stereo... I'm still 1st Gen and apparently our stereos were better, but I still want to make some minor changes... I plan on eventually swapping out the speakers to nicer ones... and eventually moderately increasing bass by putting some low profile sub kits that are designed to fit under the seats. I don't have NAV or anything that will get in the way, so I should be able to add 2x 10" boxes under each front seat... They are already fully encased, and powered, so I'll need to split off 2 signals from the amp, and run power to them... Not very hard in the general scheme of things...

Thanks guys. After some more looking around the site I found that a member here has already added the exact wheels I was looking at so that will not be an issue at all. Even saw a pic of his car with them on it.

Thanks for the tips on other cars that share our bolt pattern also. That will help when it comes time to list them for sell.

I wish the white aero kit would match but I guess it won't be too bad to have it painted. Thanks for the heads up on that.

The only issue left to contend with is the audio. If I decide to address it down the road I'd like to keep everything hidden away in the stock locations so I'll have to look more into that when the time comes. I'll probably just live with it as is for a while.
